Products Question & Answer

The Dokan Cloud platform introduces a dynamic Product Question & Answer (Q&A) feature, enabling customers to ask questions about any product and receive direct answers from vendors. Customers can also explore previously asked, related questions for quick insights. This feature promotes seamless communication between buyers and sellers, enhancing the shopping experience by delivering detailed product information right when it’s needed.


Configuring the Product Q&A


To showcase this feature on the single product page, the admin can easily configure it using the Page Builder. Once set up, customers will be able to view and ask questions directly on the product page, making the shopping experience more interactive and informative. This helps vendors engage with their customers effectively and ensures that all queries are addressed in one place.



After logging in, customers can visit the single product page and click on the “Post Your Question” option to submit their question. All questions asked by customers will be displayed below in a list format for easy viewing.




If a customer wants to ask a question and also check whether a similar question has already been asked, they can use the search feature. By entering relevant keywords, the system will display all previous questions containing those keywords in the search results.



Vendor Q&A Management


Vendors can easily manage customer questions from their dashboard under Products → Question and Answer. Questions are neatly categorized as Unanswered, Answered, or Hidden, making it simple to track them. Using the filter option, vendors can view questions for specific products, ensuring they focus only on the relevant queries for each product.




Vendors can answer any customer question directly from their dashboard. When they click on a question, an Answer option will appear. 



Once the vendor submits an answer, it will be displayed on the single product page for customers to see.


Admin Question Management


Admins can conveniently manage all customer questions from their dashboard under Products → Question and Answer. Questions are neatly organized in the sequence: All, Unanswered, Answered, and Hidden, making it easy to track their status. Using the filter option, admins can focus on questions related to specific products and vendors, ensuring efficient management and quick access to relevant queries.



Admin Question Management - Advanced Features


The admin panel offers advanced question management capabilities:

  • Admins can answer questions directly from the dashboard.
  • Question titles can be edited anytime as needed.
  • Any question can be hidden from the front end. Once hidden, it will no longer appear on the frontend but can still be accessed and managed via the Hidden section in the admin panel.

Customers can ask questions, search for related queries, and view answers directly on the product page, while vendors and admins can efficiently manage, answer, and organize all questions from their dashboards.


This feature not only enhances the shopping experience but also helps build trust and transparency between buyers and sellers, ensuring a more engaging and informed marketplace.
